I was saddened to hear of Robert's passing and I missed being able to attend the visitation or service as I didn't know about it until too late. I'm hoping you will all be comforted by warm memories. Martha, so sorry I didn't make it but please know you're in my thoughts.

Dear Wells family,
Was it really so long ago that at 5am in the morning a knock came at the door and mom answered to 'Uncle' Robert telling her to tell me he was taking Nina to the doctor? He came back 2 hours later to pick me up, he had Nina and brand new Dwight with him. I fixed lunch that day, he spent the day on the tractor, but Nina went to milk the cows in the evening. They lived a simple farm life and raised their children and lived close to the earth. Many times he sent me after the cows. Somehow that part of America is fading away. I am better for the times I picked strawberries in the patch, watched the evenings come to a peaceful close. It was time for him to go. The Lord bless all of you with peace in his crossing over.18

Marie, Martha and families, Sorry to hear of your loss and keeping you close in thought during this sad time. When God takes someone we love, he leaves memories. Cherish those memories and when your heart feels empty and all alone, fill it with those memories and let time heal. God Bless and keep you close in his care. In Sympathy.
