Just read of Dicks' passing in the AEP newsletter. We extend our deepest condolences in your loss. As you know, Dick and I worked together for many years until I retired in 1995. I know Dick was an asset to. AEP and was a very devoted employe and admired by many in the coal industry.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. Dick was always quick to ask about my son, Adam. Dick rented an apartment from Adam's great-grandfather, Samuel Johnson in Narrows, VA. God bless you all with peace and comfort.

I was saddened to hear of your loss. I was fortunate to be with Dick at work, but more importantly on a few of the hunting and fishing trips show in the photo spread. With warmest regards, Pat O'Brien

Amy, we will never forget the fact that your dad always called Lucas "Oscar" from the day he was born. I'm not sure he even knew his real name! He always had so many nice things to say to Lucas and Olivia whenever he saw them at church, and he always asked me how my mom and dad were doing. Randy absolutely loved visiting your dad and listening to his stories. He was a good person, and I'm sure it is so comforting to know that he has left behind so many good memories with others. Thinking of you today and the days ahead.

He was positive influence during my childhood -- a man you could trust to teach you what was good and right. He was also fun to be around. I have such warm memories of him at church. May God bless you and help you heal.

To the Bailey family, you have our deepest sympathy. I remember Dick as a fun loving fellow. Lisa helped my husband many times with computer stuff at Zanesville high School and we taught Korie swim lessons. Hugs and prayers for you all.

Our prayers are with you all. He was always a truly funny guy and loving and so kind. He'd see me over the years and it was always the same greeting "Well Hi Sweetheart how have you been?" He was always that way when he saw you, smiling and joking. No matter what if you saw him and he saw you - there would be laughter in the end. May God comfort all of you as you celebrate his life.
