I met Michael on high school when I moved to Pomeroy. I remember that he always wanted to be a disc jokey and the last time I saw him was a chance encounter at a resteruant in Parkersburg and how proud he was to be a Ohio News Network reporter. I liked him and am proud that we were friends.

I would like to send my condolences to the family. In times like this the Bible can give us much comfort and hope for the future. At John 11:25 Jesus said that anyone who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come back to life. In Revelation 21:4 it says that death will be no more. What a wonderful promise that the God of all comfort gives.

Mike was the nicest person to work with. He really cared about his work for Washington County. I am sorry to hear about Mike's passing. My condolences to his family. Mike is in heaven now and is no longer suffering.
