I want you to know how much I will miss Flontella I loved her as thou she was my own mom. There was never a day went by that I didn't call her Flontella she would laugh and say you little shit. She told me one day that I turned out to be a good kid I laughed and said did you think I wouldn't she said she was a little concerned. You are all in my thoughts and prayers her and mom will be together now and drive dad crazy again.
Love all of you

We are so sorry to hear of Ila's passing. It's times such as these that memories come flooding back of our years in Summerfield. Ila, Kathleen and sometimes Marilyn all setting around my mom's kitchen table drinking coffee and talking about whatever was on their minds. Probably us kids! One thing you girls can be sure of, and that's the love she had for each of you. May God bless each of you at this time. Rest in His peace.
Love to All

I remember your mom when we worked at Gunnel's restaurant years ago. She was such a wonderful and hard working woman and her daughters were her pride and joy. Prayers for strength for all of you as you grieve the loss of your mother.

May the peace of God which passes all understanding be with you during this difficult time. I spent a lot of hours with Ila talking and laughing every Saturday. I would go up and we would chat for a couple hours and I would say..well I guess I will move on with my visits and she would say ALREADY then we would look at the clock and I had been there for 2 hours..it didn't even seem like 15 minutes. I really loved her I will miss her greatly.

Janet, Janeen, Jane and Liz:
I have such fond memories of your mom and of you girls as you were growing up in Summerfield. I last saw your mom at Summit Acres when Joe was there. That same smile and loving heart will be missed by all who knew her. May God keep you in his comforting arms during these difficult days ahead!
Love you!
Nancy
