Esther E. Moore

Esther E. Moore, age 83, of Caldwell, OH passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Lafayette Pointe Nursing Home & Rehab in West Lafayette, OH. She was born September 19, 1932 in Washington County, Ohio a daughter of the late Henry Corbin and Adeline Wheeler Robbins.

Esther was a member of the Caldwell Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time quilting and working on her puzzles. She liked to shop and could often be found eating out especially at her favorite place Red Lobster. Esther truly loved her family and her grandchildren all had a special place in her heart.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Moore, whom she married December 24, 1951 and who passed December 24, 2005 and 1 sister Ruth Sullivan.

Those left to cherish her memory are, two daughters Beverly (Ron) Saling of Caldwell and Pamela (Tim) Smith of West Lafayette, OH; two sons Michael (Cathy) Moore and James Stephen “Steve” (Teresa) Moore both of Caldwell; grandchildren Jason (Rachel) Saling, Tracey (Yuliya) Saling and Ryan (Jenna) Saling, Justin (Trina) Moore, Allison (Brandon) Crock, Jamie (Ashlee) Moore, Ashlee (Rob) Clark, Shelley (Josh Clark) Smith and Tim (Amber McKown) Smith; Great-Grandchildren Brenden and Hope Saling, Caileigh and Caden Moore, Gavin Clark, Laken Clark, Raelyn Clark,Lilly Clark,  Zayne Smith, Ethan and Cameron Crock, Stella and Lyla Moore, Nicholas, Dimitriy, Aleksander and Natasha Saling, Qwendalyn and Clara Saling; sister-In-Law Virginia (Don) Bartels of Aurora, OH; brother-In-Law Mark (Cathy) Webster of Orange City, FL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 26, 2016 PM from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Halley’s Ridge Cemetery, near Ava, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Health Services of Coshocton County (Hospice), 230 S. 4th Street, Coshocton, OH 43812.
