Twila A. (Miley) Archer

Twila A. Archer age 91, of Caldwell, OH passed away Saturday morning, December 11, 2021 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born January 13, 1930 in Mt. Ephraim, OH a daughter of the late Harry C. and Lura A. Danford Miley.

She was a member of the Mt. Ephraim United Methodist Church in Mt. Ephraim. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting for many years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Clyde F. Archer whom she married March 9, 1951 and who passed away August 28, 2014; sister Patsy A. Davis; great-nephew Austin D. Davis.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister Barbara (Art) Smith of Caldwell; 2 nephews Steven (Susan) Davis and Keith (Pam) Davis all of Stockport, OH; brother-in-law Dwight Davis of Stockport; special cousin Mary Cox of Sarahsville, OH; special friend Deb Forshey of Carlisle, OH. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will conclude visitation on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Matus officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Ephraim Cemetery in Mt. Ephraim. Memorial contributions may be directed in Twila’s Honor to the Mt. Ephraim United Methodist Church, c/o Jim Williams, 51901 Seneca Lake Road, Sarahsville, OH 43779.
