Rebecca G. Bonar

Rebecca G. Bonar age 66, of Caldwell, OH passed away Wednesday evening, July 28, 2021 at the Altercare Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Caldwell. She was born June 27, 1955, in Marietta, OH a daughter of Avenell Woodford Wharton of Caldwell and the late Charles Williams.

Becky was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Caldwell and the Dexter City American Legion Auxiliary #418. She loved horses, reading, and working crossword puzzles.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her son Jason D. Bonar.

Those left to cherish her memory are two sons David Bonar of Caldwell and Jeremy (Bobi) Bonar of Cumberland; two grandchildren Paxtyn Bonar and Caleb Bonar; two great-grandchildren; three siblings Kenny Williams of Caldwell, Dave (Denise) Williams of Macksburg, OH, and Christine Knox of Parkersburg, WV. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with George Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Dudley Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her son Jason.
