Ray Kirkbride

Ray Kirkbride age 79, of Caldwell, OH passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Altercare Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell. He was born July 7, 1941 in Noble County, OH a son of the late James and Frances White Kirkbride.

Ray was a truck driver for many years driving for several different companies prior to his retirement. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing darts, cooking, and especially watching his OSU Buckeyes.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son Raymond Allen “Hoss” Kirkbride Sr. and a sister Sandra Ball.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Ester Louise Hack Kirkbride, whom he married April 27, 1963; daughter Melissa Ann Miller of Cambridge, OH; 4 grandchildren Angela Nicole (William) Fulton of Cambridge, OH, Deborah Wigner of Byesville, OH, Robert Miller of Lakeland, FL, and Raymond Allen Kirkbride Jr. of Zanesville, OH; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings Evelyn Ball of Marietta, OH, Cheryl (Gary) Funk of Tennessee, Ben (Nellie) Kirkbride of Zanesville, Cindy (Harry) Anderson, Rita (Oscar) Estep, June Funk all of Pleasant City, OH and Patsy (Jimmie) Eschman of Caldwell; sisters-in-law Carrie (Hank) Walker of Tampa, FL and Darlene (Jimmy) Welch of Indiana; brother-in-law Charles Ball. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation will be observed and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
