Obituary

Paul L. Geiger, 83, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at his home.

Paul was born on March 18, 1940, in Akron, a son to Henry and Katherine.

Paul may be best remembered locally as the owner of Geiger’s Foreign Car Service in Cambridge, Ohio. Paul enjoyed SCCA racing, especially his beloved Bugeye Sprite. He also spent time on the Go Cart circuit with his sons. Paul enjoyed tinkering in his garage, woodworking and listening to jazz music. His favorite place to travel was the New River Gorge in West Virginia.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Richard, and a sister, Ruth.

Paul is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances, a daughter, Monica, and two sons, Jean Paul and Christopher (Laura). He is also survived by three grandchildren, Sierra, Donovan and Levi.

The family would like to give special thanks to hospice for the care they provided for Paul. The family asks that donations to please be made to Hospice of Guernsey County in his name.  

No additional services will be held at this time. The family will have a private ceremony to celebrate Paul’s life with their extended family at a later date. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
