Margaret A. (Bates) Benner

Margaret A. Benner age 77 of Caldwell, OH passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Altercare Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell. She was born May 14, 1943 in Zanesville, OH a daughter of the late Delbert and Myrtle Maxine Long Bates.

She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Belle Valley, OH. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and doing puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons Joseph and David Benner and brother-in-law Jerry Haga.

Those left to cherish her memory, are one son Tony (Jodie) Benner of Byesville, OH; grandchildren Hailey, Taylor, Aliyah, Michael, Brandy, Allie, and Jacob; great-grandchildren Xavier, Malachi, and Isabella Rose; siblings John (Judy) Bates of Sarahsville, OH, Mary (Gary) Caldwell of Belle Valley, Jimmy (Becky) Bates of Georgetown, KY, and Jennifer Haga who was also her roommate at Summit Acres. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation services will be observed, with a private inurnment held by the family at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville, OH, with Pastor Anthony Payton officiating. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 is helping the family during this difficult time.
