Kenneth C. Crum age 81, of Columbus, OH formerly of Cambridge, OH passed away Friday evening, May 15, 2020 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born January 26, 1939 in Carlisle, OH a son of the late Edwin L. and Anita R. Kuhn Crum.
He graduated from the former Summerfield High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He was a US Army Veteran and was Catholic by faith. He was the former owner/operator of the Secrest-Crum Insurance Agency in Cambridge. He loved to be outdoors and for many years had his favorite dog Curtis by his side.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 1 brother James A. Crum and sister-in-law Linda Crum.
Those left to cherish his memory, is one son Jason (Erin) Crum of Westerville, OH; 4 grandchildren Noah, Ethan, Elise, and Cassidy Crum; 3 brothers Roger L. (Donna) Crum of Louisville, KY, Lawrence A. (Jane) Crum of Seattle, WA, and John E. Crum of Parkersburg, WV; sister-in-law Audrey M. Crum of Caldwell, OH. He is also survived by several by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to the current Corona Pandemic the family will observe private graveside services in St. Joseph Chapel Hill Cemetery in Monroe County, OH, with Rev. Father Wayne Morris serving as celebrant. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends after the social distancing protocols have lifted.
