Keith Evan Presnell, age 25, of Summerfield, OH passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 in Wayne County, N.C. He was born September 18, 1993 in Cambridge, OH a son of Kristy L. Bates Presnell of Pleasant City, OH and Chad E. Presnell of Belle Valley, OH.
He was a 2012 Graduate of the Shenandoah High School, where he played football, basketball, baseball and track. He also attended the Mid-East Career Center. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and 4-H for many years. He enjoyed helping others and often could be found transporting the Amish. Anyone that knew him will always remember that hunting was Keith’s passion. It didn’t matter what animal he was in the hunt of he was always most comfortable in the woods.
He is preceded in death by his pappaw Larry D. Bates and grandmother Joyce Bates; aunt Kathy L. Thomas and uncle Marc Thomas; cousin Samantha Ann Thomas.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter Sophie Danielle; sister Maggie Presnell; brother Cash Presnell; “granny” Lucy Jane Bates; grandparents Roger & Sandy Presnell; aunt Konny (Robert) Pickenpaugh; cousins Jerad (Robbie) Thomas and their children Mack & Kayla; Kurt (Jessi) Thomas and their children Emmy & Lindy; Karly Thomas, Kirstyn Pickenpaugh, and Josey Pickenpaugh; aunt Julie Presnell and her children Dayton & Jasper Hill; Sierra & Sheldon Bates. He is also survived by a close-knit, extended family aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and some of the best hunting buddies.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, December 7, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ken Hacker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
