Judith "Judee" L. Myers

Judith “Judee” L. Myers age 80, of Cumberland, OH passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 6, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Jack and Heide Battung.

She was an active member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley, OH. She enjoyed being involved with her church especially making nut rolls for the Church to enjoy. She was a hospice volunteer for the Hospice of Guernsey Inc. for over 15 years helping others. She felt she was blessed with so many good friends and family. Judee loved working on her compost pile. She had a passion for quilting, as well as doing water aerobics and swimming with her friends. Her favorite times were those spent with her grandchildren. Thank you Lord for a wonderful life full of travel, adventure, and challenge.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Robert Myers, whom she married April 11, 1992; 3 children Joe (Nancy) Naroski of Willowick, OH, Jeannine (Eddie) Giannina of Glendale, AZ, and Jim (Jackie) Naroski of Sammamish, WA; 6 grandchildren Jessica Giannina, Jennifer (Chris) VanDusen, Eddie Giannina III, Jordan Naroski, Brooke Naroski, and Jenna Naroski; 1 great granddaughter Justice VanDusen; 4 sisters Jackie (Richard) Bolander of Michigan, Jeanne (Raymond) Sierka of Phoenix, AZ, Jill (Larry) Myers of Phoenix, AZ, and Janet (Gerald) Borac of Willoughby Hills, OH, brother Jay (Mary) Battung of Willoughby, OH. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Cremation will be observed at this time. A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday, April 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 223 Main St, Belle Valley, OH 43717, with Rev. Father Wayne Morris serving as celebrant. Memorial contributions may be directed in Judee’s honor to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Hospice of Guernsey Inc., P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
