John Seitz Obituary

John W. Seitz age 76, of Pleasant City, OH passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Altercare Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell, OH. He was born October 3, 1944 in Akron, OH a son of the late John J. and Margaret L. Bert Seitz.

He was a truck driver for many years as an owner and operator. He could often be found working on his antique tractor or watching the NHRA and NASCAR racing on television.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary A. Workman Seitz whom he married October 18, 1975 and who passed away August 9, 2019.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Katie Seitz of Pleasant City; brother Michael G. (Jamie) Seitz of Akron, OH; sister Maggi (Barry) Hollis of Green, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation will be observed with no additional services held at this time. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
