Frederic Colvin Obituary

Frederic Colvin age 72, of Quaker City, OH passed away Friday July 26, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 22, 1946 in Chillicothe, OH a son of the late Ora and Thelma Baldwin Colvin.

He enjoyed hunting and shooting guns. He was a member of The Assembly of God in St. Clairsville, and Jimmy Swagart’s Church of Louisiana. He served and protected his nation as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law, Ronald and Donald Wilson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Alice Anna Wilson Colvin, whom he married July 19, 1985; children Christopher and Dennis (Becky) Colvin, Nicole (Nicholas) Bishop, Jimmy, Michael, and Shawn (Tammy) May, Carrie Secrest; brothers Gerald and Roger Colvin; sister Judy Curtis; 14 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Cremation will be observed with no additional services planned at this time. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
