Frank J. Yakupcak Sr.

Frank J. Yakupcak Sr. age 67, of Cumberland, OH passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family and cared for by Genesis Hospice Care. He was born September 9, 1955 in Brookfield Township, OH a son of the late Joseph Jr. and Josephine Ciprinio Yakupcak.

He loved fishing and was a member of the UMWA Union #4826. Frank retired from the International Converter – Novolex Manufacturing Plant in Caldwell, OH in 2021 following 44 years of service.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law Kenny Fogle and sister-in-law Debbie Harper.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Pamela D. Carter Yakupcak whom he married June 3, 1994; son Frank J. Yakupcak Jr. of Freeport, OH; 2 stepsons Jason A. (Jeff Ouper) Giesey of Tempe, AZ and Jared D. Giesey of Belmont, OH; grandchildren Layne Yakupcak, Janei Giesey, and Briana Giesey; 3 siblings Joseph (Catherine) Yakupcak III of Wellington, OH, Bernadette (Bradley) Humes of Florence, KY, and Christine Yakupcak of Pompano Beach, FL; mother-in-law Helen Fogle; brother-in-law John (Ruth) Carter; sisters-in-law Patricia Douglas, Theresa (Danny) Morrill, Kathy (Tim) Jones, Janet (Danny) Crawford and families. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be observed October 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Hiramsburg Cemetery with Pastor Greg Thacker officiating, with inurnment to follow. Memorial contributions may be directed in Frank’s honor to the Genesis Morrison House – New Wheelchair Fund, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, OH 43701.
