Evelyn Diane (McElfresh) Brown

Evelyn Diane Brown age 69, of Caldwell, OH passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Newark, OH. She was born August 23, 1952 in Marietta, OH a daughter of the late Donald E. and Bonnie J. Bates McElfresh.

She was a 1970 graduate of the Shenandoah High School. She enjoyed playing Bingo and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Diane will be remembered by many for her time employed at the Caldwell Food Center for over 25 years. She also served her community as the Clerk for Stock Township for over 30 years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Terry G. Brown, whom she married June 24, 1972 and who passed away February 1, 2009; 2 brothers Harold and Michael McElfresh; sister Theresa Kahle; nephew Travis E. Spires; brothers-in-law Troy Satterfield, Les and Jerry Brown, Tom Leasure, and Wilky Thompson; sisters-in-law Carolyn McElfresh, Connie Brown, and Wanda Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons Terry G. Brown II and Joshua L. (Staci) Brown all of Caldwell; grandchildren Tanner, Kinsley, Garrett, Gentry, and Korra Brown; great-grandchild Sawyer Brown; 2 sisters Judy (Mike) Spires of Caldwell and Barb Satterfield of Nashport, OH; brothers-in-law Dan Kahle, Bob, Mike, and Kevin Brown; sisters-in-law Carol Novak, Patty Thompson, Kathy Couch, and Cheryl Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Evangelist Jimmie Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Free Methodist Cemetery in Sarahsville, OH.
