D. (Dorothy) Jeanette (Langston) Waterson

D. (Dorothy) Jeanette Waterson, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Southeastern Med in Cambridge.  She was born in Ringgold, Georgia, a daughter of the late Burl and Bertie Mae (Dempsey) Langston.

Jeanette moved to Ohio in her early adult life, living in the Cleveland suburbs until she retired to Caldwell nearly thirty years ago.  Jeanette lit up every room she entered with her smile, sense of humor, and infectious laughter.  She was a definite force to be reckoned with, loving fiercely, loyal to friends, and selfless in her support of her family.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her beloved husband, W.J. "Bill" Waterson, and her adored brother, James Langston. 

Jeanette is survived by her cherished children, Pamela Langston-Cox and Brent George, her dear brother and sister, Robert Langston and Geraldine Townsend, several loving nieces and nephews, and many treasured friends and devoted neighbors.

As Jeanette wished, there will be no visitation.  A celebration of life service is being planned, with details to follow.  Donations in Jeanette's memory may be made to Hospice of Guernsey, Inc., P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, OH 43725.
