Barbara M. Smith

Barbara M. Smith age 66, of Caldwell, OH passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell. She was born May 11, 1954 in Cambridge, OH a daughter of the late Ross B. and Dorothy McKee Smith.

Many will remember Barb as a loyal employee of Walmart in Cambridge, where she helped open the store and worked for many years. She was a wonderful aunt and attended every niece and nephew’s events she could. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR and traveling in her younger years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 1 brother Joseph E. “Joe” Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory are 1 brother David R. Smith of Caldwell; sister-in-law Louise Smith of Caldwell; nieces & nephews Bryan (Stacey) Smith of Virginia, April (Will) Stottsberry of Caldwell, OH, Sarah (Jim) Lenner of New Concord, OH, Maryah Smith of Caldwell, Heather (Sean) Frizzell of Cumberland, OH, and Joe (Nikki) Smith of Shadyside, OH; great-nieces & nephews Madison, Cameron, Grant, Garrett, Amelia, Georgia, Mila, Luke, Raegan, Samantha, Abraham, Zander, Jack, Bela; great-great-nieces & nephews Ryker and Hazel; very good friend Pastor Mark Slay. She is also survived by many special friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, October 30, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A funeral service will conclude visitation Friday at 3:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mark Slay officiating. Burial will follow at the Eastern Cemetery in Summerfield, OH.
