Virginia M. "Ginny" Canter

Virginia M. "Ginny" Canter age 77, of Caldwell, OH went to meet her Lord on Tuesday, November 13th, 2012 with her loving family and friends by her side. Ginny was born November 15th, 1934 in Zanesville, OH a daughter of the late Joseph S. and Ora Mae Barr. She loved her clown collection. She worked in an office setting in Washington, DC in her younger years. She was a kind and loving person who made the world a better place. All of her kindness will not be forgotten. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a Sister Mary Alyce Barr; Brother Robert Barr and Stepson Michael Canter. She was loved and will be missed by her family, Husband Carl "Bill" Canter of the home, whom she married February 27th, 1979; 2 Stepdaughters Cindy Robinson of Canton, OH and Kay Canter of Oklahoma; 2 Stepsons John Canter of Japan and James Canter of Oklahoma; Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters Martha Jane Atkins of Zanesville, OH and Margaret Kaltenstein of Whiting, NJ; Good Friend and Caretaker Mary Jane Stotts of Caldwell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Friday, November 16th, 2012 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Funeral Service will conclude the visitation at 1:00 pm Friday in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Father Wayne Morris Officiating. A respectful cremation will follow and inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
