Violet I. Landaker Lunsford

Violet I. Landaker Lunsford age 87, of Caldwell, OH passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Caldwell, under the care of Hospice of Guernsey Inc. She was born September 17, 1928 in Noble County, OH a daughter of the late Charles Clinton and Mary Alice Murrey Feldner.

Violet was a member of the Caldwell Church of Christ and the Guernsey Chapter 211, Order of the Eastern Star. She worked alongside her husband James for many years at the former Landakers Bakery in Caldwell. She went on to become a deputy in the Noble County Treasurers Office until her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband James E. Landaker, whom she married March 10, 1946 and who passed away November 4, 1989; siblings Edwin (Mary) Feldner, Chester Feldner, Angie (Monroe) Franks, Ollie (Harry) Snode, Charles (Lucy) Feldner and Delbert (Fannie) Feldner.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her husband Kenneth T. Lunsford, whom she married September 4, 1992; 2 daughters Cindy (Mike) Clark of Caldwell and Linda (Raymond) Stillion of Cambridge, OH; grandson Jimmy (Jackie) Clark of Leesburg, VA and granddaughter Addy (Jason) Scott of Delaware, OH; great-grandchildren Myles Clark, Michal and Chandler Scott; sister-in-law Cleo Feldner of Caldwell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Sharon Cemetery in Sharon, OH.
