Thomas 'Tom' P. Morris Jr.

Thomas "Tom" P. Morris Jr. age 55, of Cumberland, OH passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH. He was born January 22, 1964 in Canton, OH a son of the late Thomas P. Sr. and Helen Foreman Morris.

Tom was a member and former Commander of the Sons of the American Legion Belle Valley Post #641. He will be remembered as a great truck driver. His favorite time was spent with his granddaughter Emma "Munchkin." He was a Ford man and most recently was in the process of restoring a 1977 Ford Mustang. He liked depictions of indians and wolves.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Bill Morris.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Lisa A. Goodhart Morris, whom he married May 17, 1986; son Gary Morris of Cumberland; daughter Cassandra Morris of Caldwell; granddaughter Emma "Munchkin" Morris; 2 brothers Mason (Dawn Bettinger) Morris of Caldwell and Hank Morris of Belle Valley; sister Elaine Ballard of Belle Valley; father-in -law and mother-in-law John (Marlene) Goodhart of Caldwell; brother-in-law Darren (Rachel) Goodhart of Cambridge, sister-in-law Holly (Randy) Harriman of Caldwell; 2 nieces Sienna Harriman and Nicole Morris. Also survived by many friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will conclude visitation Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Larry Copley officiating. Cremation will follow the service and inurnment will be held at a later date.
