Thomas Craft

Thomas E. "Tom" Craft, age 56, of Caldwell died Monday morning (Feb. 13, 2006) at the Southeastern Med in Cambridge, OH. He was born Oct. 4, 1949 in Caldwell a son of the late Loyal "Pete" Benson and Pearl Boyd Craft. He was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Caldwell. He protected his country by serving in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971. He served on the Board of Public Affairs in Caldwell and assisted the Caldwell High School Football Program for many years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by Brother Bill Craft and Sister Leora Michel. Surviving are his wife Sharon (Forshey) Craft of the home whom he married Dec. 15, 1973. Two Daughters Angela (Slade) Hankinson of Columbus, OH and Theresa (Jason) Farley of Newark, OH; Grandchildren Cole Thomas and Stuart Russell Hankinson. Three Sisters Carol (Rodney) Rohrbaugh of Caldwell, Lynn Foraker of Caldwell and Doris Barlock of Brunswick, OH; One Brother Benson Craft of Kent, OH; Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio Wednesday (Feb. 15, 2006) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral liturgy, with Mass will be held Thursday (Feb. 16, 2006) at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Carlisle with military graveside services conducted by Caldwell VFW Post #4721 & Belle Valley American Legion Post # 641.
