Terry D. Phalin

Terry D. Phalin age 79, of Caldwell, OH passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 10, 2020 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. He was born July 29, 1940 in Miami, WV a son of the late Alvie Monroe and Virginia Iona Epperly Phalin.

Terry will be remembered by so many as the local UPS delivery guy in Noble County for 29 years. He loved to play the lottery, watch college football, especially W.V.U. He enjoyed fishing, riding around in his red truck with his best friends, his dogs and anything that involved being in the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Soni Phalin.

Those left to cherish his memory are 3 daughters Lena (Terry) Richards of Rockport, WV, Amy (Darich) Leister of Caldwell, and Tera (Jimi) Parks of Marietta, OH; 6 granddaughters Cassandra (Jason) Giffin, Cyrena (Justin) Mace, Cayla (Zach Welch) Bowen, Samantha (Derek) Shriver, Kelsie (Ryan Brown) Leister, and Karissa Leister; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings Ronnie Phalin of Gallipolis, OH, Gordon Phalin of Piqua, OH, Keith Phalin, Robin (Kathy) Phalin, and Doug (Karen) Phalin all of Pomeroy, OH; His daughters mother Sandra Smith of Marietta. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, March 13, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will conclude visitation at 7:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Jimmie Moore officiating. Cremation will follow with inurnment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Paws Inc. Humane Society of Noble County, P.O. Box 4, Caldwell, OH 43724 or visitors are encouraged to bring care items for dogs that will be donated by the family.
