Sylvia D. Bryan

Sylvia D. Bryan age 94, of Caldwell, OH passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at Southeastern Med in Cambridge, Ohio. She was born April 16, 1921 in Caldwell a daughter of the late Lewis and Clara Dutton Dennis.

She was a member of the Caldwell Church of Christ in Caldwell. She retired from the former Mahle Manufacturing Plant located in Caldwell, after 35 years of service. She enjoyed playing Bingo and crafting with wood. She was very active for many years in assisting fellow retirees from the Plant.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Arthur "Pete" Bryan; daughter Carol "Lynn" Stack; 1 sister Marteen Alice Spriggs and nephew Jeffrey Hill.

Surviving are son-in-law Dean O. Stack of Senecaville, OH; 2 granddaughters Shelly Rubright of Senecaville and Sherry (David) Olmstead of Cincinnati, OH; grandson Shawn Stack of Columbus, OH; great-grandchildren Taylor and Bryan Olmstead, Clara Michelle Lynn Ferguson; 1 sister Belle Chandler of Atwater, OH; special friends Kenny and Janeen Wise of Caldwell and Anna Cordell of Cambridge. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio. A funeral service will conclude visitation at 2:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Dudley Cemetery south of Caldwell.

In lieu of flowers, Sylvia loved to eat out, the family requests that you take your loved ones out to dinner.
