Stuart A Bragg

Stuart A. Bragg age 74, of Ava and Newark, OH passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his home. He was born January 7, 1951 in Northampton, MA, a son of the late Fred G. and Barbara M. Norwood Bragg.

He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially canoeing. His passion for it was so great that he once embarked on an incredible journey, paddling the Ohio River all the way to the Mississippi, ultimately reaching the end in New Orleans. Stuart was a 1969 graduate of Newark High School.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Fred G. Bragg Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children Patrick Bragg and Alyssa Bragg both of Newark; grandchildren Luke Bragg, Joseph McIntyre, Brian McIntyre, Gillianne McIntyre, and Maya Campbell; brothers Wendell (Jacqueline) Bragg, Jeffrey (Kathy) Bragg and Greg (Kelly) Bragg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation will be observed, with no additional services held at this time. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
