Shirley Ann Jennings age 90, of Caldwell, OH passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 at her home. She was born March 16, 1935 in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Carl D. and Vera V. (Sandish) Hartman.

Shirley enjoyed playing cards and listening to country music. She almost never missed an episode of The Price is Right.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter Carla Laippley; daughter-in-law Amy Tippens; a granddaughter Tanya Lockhart and a grandson Kenny Laippley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Rebecca (Larry) Kominar of Belle Valley, OH, Cindy (Eric) Otto of Sarahsville, OH; son James G. Tippens of Delta, OH; grandchildren Melissa Ann Baker-Mack, Josh (Victoria) Leake, Justin Leake, Jordan (Frankie) Leake, Jeffery (Elizabeth) Laippley, Kristy (Jake) Clark, Amanda (William) Baker, Ashley, Shaelyn and Morghyn Tippens; several great-grandchildren; sister Barbara Horner of Wadsworth, OH, Evelyn (Ray) Lyons of Lorraine, OH, and Linda Hartman; brother Robert Hartman of Wadsworth.

Cremation will be observed with no additional services to be held at this time. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service 609 West Street Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
