Sarah L. Hough

Sarah L. Ulrich Hough age 84 of Caldwell, OH, formerly of Salem, OH passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born December 23, 1930 in Salem, a daughter of the late John and Alma Christiansen Tullis.

Sarah will be remembered as a strong Christian, with faith being the driving force in her life. She was raised in the Nazarene Church. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Salem and most recently attended the Sharon Presbyterian Church near Caldwell. Sarah met her husband Andy at the Electric Furnace Company in Salem in 1954. She enjoyed playing hymns on the piano, which she did by ear and also dabbled in oil painting.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Andrew "Andy" Ulrich, whom she married in 1955; 3 brothers Dick, Jack, and Bill Tullis; sister Mildred Ruffing and special friend James "Jim" Langston.

Those left to cherish her memory are, daughter Kris Ulrich Charles of Dexter City, OH and 1 sister Nancy Tullis Hough of Salem. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
