Sandra May Burchett

Sandra "Sandy May" Burchett, age 54 of Cumberland passed away Friday, October 9th, 2009 at her home, surrounded by her family following a brief illness. She was born March 5th, 1955 in Akron, OH a daughter of Brooks and Donnie Carte May of Cumberland. Sandy graduated from Meadowbrook High School as the Salutatorian of the Class of 1973 and later attended Walsh College. She worked at the Cambridge State Hospital for several years as well as Cook Mobile Homes in West Lafayette, OH. Sandy enjoyed spending time doing craft work. In addition to her parents Sandy is survived by her Husband Jerret "Jerry Dale" Burchett, whom she married April 22, 1983; One Sister Darlene (Joe) Miser of Cumberland; Two Nieces Melissa and Miranda Miser both of Cumberland; Her loving pets Coco and Dancer. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. In keeping with Sandy's wishes no services will be observed at this time and cremation will be performed. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
