Roy W Johnson

Roy W. Johnson, age 88 of Caldwell, OH passed away Tuesday, December 7th, 2010 at the Summit Acres Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell. He was born October 12, 1922 in Noble County, Ohio a son of the late Rado R. and Shella A. Feldner Johnson. Roy served and protected our nation in the US Army during WWII, where he was stationed in Italy. He was employed at the former Republic Steel Corp in Canton, OH for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and watching sporting events. Roy liked trips traveling to Amish Country. He could often be found having coffee and conversation at McDonalds or Lori's Family Restaurant in Caldwell. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 4 brothers Harold, Leonard, Harley and Bernard Johnson; 1 Great Nephew Jensen L. Davis. He will be missed by his family, 2 Sisters; 2 Brothers-In-Law; Nieces; Nephews; 1 Great Niece and 1 Great Nephew. He is also survived by several friends. A private, family graveside service will be observed in Greenwood Cemetery in Byesville, OH with Pastor Jim Garrett Officiating. The Guernsey County Veterans Council will conduct military honors to conclude the service.
