Rose Lawrence

Life Legacy Rose Lawrence, age 81 of Caldwell, OH passed away Thursday morning November 29th, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her family and under the care of the Marietta Home Health and Hospice. She was born June 11th, 1931 in Matsumoto City, Japan a daughter of the late Kesao and Natsumi Maruyama Otsuta. Rose worked as a seamstress for many years from her home. She will be remembered for her quilting and needle craft abilities. Whenever she got the chance she enjoyed traveling. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her Husband Carlos B. Lawrence, whom she married August 20th, 1953and who passed away May 24th, 2009; Son Larry Edward Lawrence; 2 Sisters and 4 Brothers. She was loved and will be missed by her family, 2 Daughters Jessie M. (David) Phillips of Watertown, WI and Peggy N. (Don) Bondy of Sylvania, OH; Son Terry A. (Vella) Lawrence of Waterford, OH; 9 Grandchildren Jennifer (Shaun) Bright, Kristina and Levi (Becky) Wilson, Meghan, Janice, Nikki and Brandon Lawrence, Melissa and David Bondy; 4 Great-Grandchildren Sydney R. and Khepri Bright, Tate J. Leasure and Olivia Lawrence; 3 Brothers and 1 Sister. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. A respectful cremation will be observed at this time, with no further funeral services held. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 in Sharon Cemetery with inurnment to follow. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Sharon Cemetery Association, 15023 McConnelsville Road, Caldwell, OH 43724 or Marietta Home Health and Hospice, 450 Pike Street, Suite I-1, Marietta, OH 45750, in memory of Rose.
