Robert 'Bob' Leander Warner, age 75 of Caldwell, passed away Monday morning October 1st, 2012 at the Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cambridge, OH. He was born May 24th, 1937 in Columbus, OH a son of the late Walter C. and Verena M. Heppner Warner. Robert was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell, a choir member there for over 25 years and a member of the Men's Prayer Group. He was an accomplished cabinet maker, barber for 16 years, police officer for 4 1/2 years and was retired from the former DANA Plant in Caldwell after 26 years of service. He was also an avid naturalist. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son-in-law David Dimmerling. He was loved and will be missed by his family, wife Dora Ann Fassnacht Warner of the home, whom he married March 29th, 1958; 1 son Steven (Kathy) Warner of Caldwell; 4 Daughters Cheryl Harmon, Theresa (Tom) Brown and Cynthia (Bill Clark) Dimmerling all of Caldwell and Constance Minosky of Marietta, OH; 8 Grandchildren Carrie Crock, Hannah Harmon, Tanner Moore, Kenny Warner, Tommy Brown, Tiffany Brown, Tyler Brown and Cory Dimmerling; 2 great grandchildren Tristen and Jonas Arnold; ; 1 brother Larry (Norma) Warner of Hartville, OH; 5 Sisters Judy (Art) Bolen of Dexter City, OH, Kathy Presnell, Ruth Warner, Marlene (John) Goodhart all of Caldwell and Elaine Warner of McConnelsville, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724, with a Vigil Service held at 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 4th, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell, with Rev. Father Wayne Morris serving as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Caldwell.
