Robert Edward Hague

Robert "Bob" E. Hague age 76, of Sarahsville, OH passed away Sunday morning September 17, 2017 at his home. He was born December 2, 1940 in Noble County, OH a son of the late Okey and Frances Mary Moore Hague.

Bob was a member of the Summerfield Church of Christ in Summerfield, OH. He served and protected his nation in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 8th Division, 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War. He retired from the former Mahle Plant in Caldwell, OH. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local #4836. Bob had 2 great loves in his life, the first was spending time with his family and the second was working on his family farm.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Elaine Huffman Hague whom he married July 3, 1969 and who passed Sept. 25, 2013, also a step-brother Carrel Harding.

Those left to cherish his memory are 2 daughters Carla Baker Grelles of Jerusalem, OH and Debbie Baker Foraker of Caldwell; 2 sons Brett Baker of Sarahsville, OH and Terry Quaye (Teresa) Hague of Fredericktown, OH; grandchildren Adam (Jessie) Crum, Joseph (Whitney) Crum, Dustin Foraker, Kyla (Greg) Moore, Anthony (Mindy) Foraker, Jade Baker, Cody (Leanna) Baker, Kyle Baker, Jenna, Zack, Zoe, & Randy Hague; 14 great-grandchildren Devin, Brady, Landon, Dominic, Myla, Cadence, Hunter, Miah, Hayvin, Acen, Ava, Chase, Aubree, and Breelee; 1 step-great-grandchild Zayden; beloved companion Charlotte Brumage of Sarahsville; 3 brothers Bradford (JoAnn) Hague of Howell, MI, Glenn T. (Dianna) Hague of Summerfield, and David (MaryAnne) Murrieta, CA; step-sister Sandra (Tim) Moore of Summerfield; 4 sisters-in-law Cathy (Mike) Moore of Caldwell, Arlene McCallister of Caldwell, Lena "Mickie" Huffman of Caldwell, and Melissa (Dave Blank) Trisler of East Union. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724, and Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the Church. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Summerfield Church of Christ, 602 East Cross Street, Summerfield, OH 43788, with Evangelist Jimmie Moore officiating. Burial will follow in East Union Cemetery, with military graveside services conducted by the Noble County Veteran Service Organizations.
