Richard Charles "Dick" Schultz age 72 of Lore City, OH passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Valley Hospice Lizas Place in Wheeling, WV. He was born September 13, 1944 in Sistersville, WV a son of the late Frank & Lucy Mae Goddard Schultz.

Dick drove truck for many years prior to his retirement. Years ago, he enjoyed playing guitar in a local band called Remington. When he had any free time, he could often be found tinkering around the house or out on the lake fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers Samuel Schultz, Frank Schultz, and Bill Schafer.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Beverly Dillon Schultz whom he married July 23, 1966; 2 sons Richard (Sue Anne) Schultz Jr. of Cambridge, OH and James (Crystal) Schultz of Pleasant City, OH; 3 grandchildren James Tyler Schultz, Maggie Danielle Schultz, and Luke Charles Schultz; 3 great-grandchildren Mason, TAndre, and TVoughte; 1 brother Robert (Rita) Schultz of Henrysburg, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation has been observed and memorial visitation will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A memorial service will conclude visitation Friday at 1:00 PM, with Daniel Barnett officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
