Richard B. Mcvicker

Richard B. McVicker age 62, of Summerfield, OH passed away August 31, 2016 at his home, as a result of an accident. He was born September 25, 1953 in Barnesville, OH a son of the late Billy and Clarice Douglas McVicker. Richard enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found working on his farm, which was his life. He was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed reading in his spare time and was a member of the Guernsey Noble Beekeepers.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Sheryl McVicker and a niece Krista Ackerman.

Those left to cherish his memory are a son R.J. (Maureen) McVicker of Pleasant City, OH; 3 grandchildren Maxwell, Emilia and Sophia McVicker; 3 brothers William McVicker of Byesville, OH, Kenneth McVicker of Summerfield and James (Janis) McVicker of Belle Valley, OH and a sister Sheila (Junior) Ackerman of Lewisville, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will observe private funeral services, with burial held at Eastern Cemetery in Summerfield, OH. Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
