Richard 'Rich' A. Baker

Richard "Rich" A. Baker age 64, of Belle Valley, OH passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 5, 1955 in Marietta, OH a son of the late William A. "Art" and Betty J. Dye Baker.

Rich was a 1973 Graduate of the Shenandoah High School. He was employed at the former Fabri-Form Plant in Byesville, OH for 41 years prior to its closing. He had worked for the Federal-Mogul Plant in Cambridge, OH for the last 5 years. He enjoyed fishing and could often be found watching his favorite team, the Cowboys playing football.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother William A. "Bill" Baker Jr.; niece Tanya Lockhart, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Harry M. and Janet R. Oliver Moore.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Sheila Marie Moore Baker whom he married July 16, 1977; 2 sons Tony (Jill) Baker and Troy (Lindsay) Baker all of Caldwell, OH; daughter Tara (Kurtis) Nalley of Marietta, OH; grandchildren Bryleigh, Brena, Bryce, Elle, and Lucas; granddog Oliver; sister Marilyn (Tom) Morrison of Carlisle, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Rodney Reeves officiating. Cremation will follow with inurnment held at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed in Richs name to the Hospice of Guernsey Inc., P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
