Ralph E Miller

Ralph E. Miller age 63, of Caldwell, OH passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Caldwell. He was born January 22, 1952 in Cambridge, OH a son of the late Ralph E. Miller Sr. and Gladys Bettinger Miller.

Ralph was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley, OH. He was retired as a park ranger from the Wolf Run State Park and drove bus for the Caldwell Exempted Village Schools. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and riding his golf cart around. He loved to watch his grandchildren playing ball. He could often be found in one of his favorite places, which was sitting on his front porch with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Don Miller; sister Joan Thomas and brother-in-law Don Thomas.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife Diane Cunningham Miller, whom he married October 10, 1970; son Shon (Amy) Miller of Caldwell; 2 daughters Shannon (Craig) Sebring and Shelly Miller all of Caldwell; 4 grandchildren Tucker and Mary Rhyan Sebring and Bailey and Blake Miller and sister Norma Jean (Gary "Butch") Hayes of New Concord, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, with a vigil service at 8:00 pm at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley, Ohio with Rev. Father Wayne Morris serving as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Caldwell.
