Peggy A. Dovenbarger

Peggy A. Dovenbarger age 69, of Belle Valley, OH passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio. She was born November 25, 1947 in Canton, Ohio a daughter of the late Ed and Betty Ball Huberty.

Peggy will always be remembered for her love of flowers and taking every opportunity, she could to swim in her pool.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Betty Mae Warner.

Those left to cherish her memory, are her husband of 28 years Ed Dovenbarger, whom she married July 8, 1989; 2 sons Richard (Missy) Slater of Caldwell and Brad Slater of Macksburg; 2 step-children Stephanie (Albert) Sprenger of Avon Lake, OH and David (Larissa) Dovenbarger of Belle Valley; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a sister Sandy (Jerry) Clark of Dexter City; special friends "Pickle" Watson, Theresa Cartell, and Elaine Warner and special neighbors. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Larry Copley officiating. Burial will follow in Dudley Cemetery south of Caldwell.
