Nikki R. Moore

Nikki R. Moore age 48 of Cumberland, OH passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice of Guernsey Inc. She was born May 25, 1972 in Cambridge, OH a daughter of the late Wayne and Ruth Costello Trimmer.

She was a 1990 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. She was a Zumba Instructor for many years at the Curves in Caldwell, having earned her Master Zin Instructor status. She enjoyed fishing and traveling in her RV. She could often be found crafting with her friend Carina. Nikki was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who always kept their home going when her husband was called to serve his country.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her father-in-law Thomas E. Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Brigadier General Thomas "Tom" E. Moore II whom she married June 9, 1990; 2 sons Thomas (Kindra) Moore III of Caldwell and Owen (Lauren) Moore of Cumberland; 2 granddaughters Sophie and Skylar; sister Joey Mobley of Senecaville, OH; mother-in-law Pam Moore of Cumberland; aunt and uncle Dama and Buzz Ferguson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, February 22, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mark Slay officiating. Burial will follow on the Moore Family Farm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in her honor to the Hospice of Guernsey Inc., P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
