Neil Wilson

Neil E. Wilson, age 74, of Sarahsville died Monday morning (May 8, 2006) at his home. He was born Nov. 17, 1931 in Crooked Tree, Ohio a son of the late Mark and Minnie (Reed) Wilson. Neil was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with friends and family. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He attended the Sarahsville United Methodist Church. Neil was retired from Dana Corporation in Caldwell following 44 years of service. He was the President of the United Steel Workers Local #4836 Retiree Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Sister Maxine Smith and Brother Claude Wilson. Surviving are his wife Irene Wilson of the home whom he married April 7, 1951; Four Sons Kenny (Pam) Wilson of Sarahsville, David (Skip) Wilson of Caldwell, Dannie (Pam) Wilson of Sarahsville and Larry (Tammy) Wilson of Mt. Sterling, OH; Two Daughters Kathy (Robert ) Ramsey of Caldwell and Linda (Kevin) Flood of Sarahsville; 12 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren and Step-Grandchildren; Two Brothers Cecil Wilson of Caldwell and Larry (Carolyn) Wilson of Oregon; Two Sisters Mildred White of Lebanon, OH and Evelyn Bowling of Franklin, OH; Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday (May 10, 2006) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Porter Officiating. Burial will follow in Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville.
