Myron W. Gilcher age 85, of Quaker City, OH passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Altercare Summit Acres in Caldwell, OH. He was born April 14, 1939 in Cambridge, OH a son of the late Raymond and Mary Watson Gilcher.

He graduated from Cambridge High School in 1957 and went on to serve and protect his nation in the United States Air Force. He proudly served in the 98th Fighter Interceptor Squadron overseas. He continued enjoying these things and more when he moved back to Ohio following his retirement. Most recently he could be found target shooting in his free time.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Helen Newell Gilcher whom he spent 55 loving years with before she passed on February 15, 2018; half-brothers James Gilcher and Raymond Gilcher Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory are a brother Harold (Jean) Gilcher of Quaker City, OH; sister Karen (Barry) Grace of Culpeper, VA; half-sister Jean Gintert of Warren, OH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
