Murl Pickenpaugh

Lillie Murl Pickenpaugh, age 97 of Caldwell, OH passed away Tuesday Morning (November 25, 2008) at the Morrison House in Zanesville, OH. She was born November 21, 1911 in Noble County, the only daughter of the late Elmer and Verna VanFleet Steen. She was a member of Keith United Methodist Church and Good Neighbors Homemakers Club. She was also a participant in the Noble County Farmer's Market for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Husband Wayne Rex Pickenpaugh, two Sons Don Ellis and Infant Elmer Rex, Son-in-law Robert Ralph, 2 Grandsons Duane and Harold Ralph and Infant Great Grandson Christopher Kulabonish. Surviving are three Sons; William (Quin) Pickenpaugh of Batesville, OH, Earl (Rita) Pickenpaugh of Caldwell and Darel (Kathy) Pickenpaugh of Union, WV; Four Daughters; Norma Ralph of Mansfield, OH Middie (Don) Shuster of McConnelsville, OH, Ruth (Don) Anderson of Bethesda, OH and Dianne (Terry) Fry of Caldwell; Twenty-One Grandchildren, Forty-Six Great Grandchildren, Five Great- Great Grandchildren; Also Several Step Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday (November 28, 2008) from 2 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Walter Jones and Pastor Mark Thomas Officiating, burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Keith United Methodist Church Building Fund, 38852 Braden Road, Dexter City, OH 45727.
