Life Legacy George F. "Mike" Kirk age 66, of Sarahsville, OH passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at his home. He was born March 3rd, 1944 in Sarahsville a son of the late George and Ruth Davis Kirk. Mike served and protected his nation in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Summerfield American Legion Post #415 and the Sarahsville United Methodist Church. He retired from Phillips Construction based out of Kentucky. He had resided and worked the last 10 years in the Washington D.C. Area. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 4 Sisters Helen Moore, Bonnie Vorhies, Joy Judd and Callie Meighen. He leaves his wife Diana Slemboski Kirk of the home, whom he married October 29th, 1977; Son Adam (Samantha) Kirk of Linden, VA; Daughter Kristi Kirk and Fiance Justin Cross of Sarahsville; 3 Grandchildren Cheyenne, Gage and Adrienne; Sister Becky Keenan of Atlanta, GA. He will also be missed by several nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with Mike's wishes a cremation will be observed. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 27th, 2010 at 4:00 PM at the Mt. Ephraim United Methodist Church, 51037 Mud Run Road, Sarahsville OH 43779, with Pastor Thomas Gruver Officiating.
