Melody E. Lafollette

Melody E. LaFollette age 66, of Sarahsville, OH passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at her home. She was born August 12, 1958 in Caldwell, OH daughter of the late Rolland Sr. and Delores Landaker Glidden.

She was a 1976 graduate of Shenandoah High School. Along with her late husband Kenny, she owned and operated LaFollette’s Machine Shop Inc. for over 35 years. Melody enjoyed crafting and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth “Kenny” A. LaFollette whom she married August 27, 1977 and who passed away December 4, 2022 as well as one brother.

Those left to cherish her memory are two children Ronnie (Catie) LaFollette of Sarahsville, OH and Chasity LaFollette of Blacklick, OH; grandchildren Reece, Kenzie, and Lane LaFollette all of Sarahsville; three brothers; two sisters. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Kenny.
