Mary R Slemboski

Mary R. Slemboski age 84 of Caldwell, OH passed away Monday morning, March 2, 2015 at Southeastern Med in Cambridge, OH. She was born January 30, 1931 in Summerfield, OH a daughter of the late Harry and Mina McElfresh Fowler.

Mary was a 1948 graduate of Summerfield High School. She attended the Mt. Ephraim United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing music, sewing, and cooking. Mary will be remembered as being very involved in all her grandchildrens activities and a person who loved to spend time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Mitchell "Mitch" Slemboski, whom she married June 9, 1951 and who passed August 31, 2010; son-in-law George F. "Mike" Kirk.

Those left to cherish her memory are 1 son Ronald (Sandy) Slemboski of Reedsville, WV; 2 daughters Diana Kirk of Sarahsville and Kathy (David) Watson of Sarahsville; 6 Grandchildren Adam Kirk, Kristi Kirk, JR Slemboski, Summer (Don) Pitcher, Sandy Watson and Heath Watson; 7 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by many friends.

Friends may join the family for Visitation Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Tom Matus Officiating. Burial will follow in Eastern Cemetery in Summerfield, OH.
