Mary Montowski

Mary Montowski, age 99, of Cumberland, Ohio, formerly of Cleveland, died Friday (March 24, 2006) at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was born March 19, 1907 in Ava, Ohio a daughter of the late John and Anna Duran Fafrak. Lovingly known as Aunt Mary to many she was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pleasant City. She enjoyed spending time quilting and cooking. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph M. Montowski who passed away June 15, 1993 ; Five Brothers John, Martin, Steve, Andy and Paul Fafrak. Surviving are a Sister Julia Mika of Cumberland; 2 Sisters-in-law Lottie "Babe" Fafrak of Cleveland and Fran Fafrak of Belle Valley; Niece and Caregiver Janette Mika of Cumberland; Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday (March 26, 06) from 4 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. Funeral services will be held Monday (March 27, 06) at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pleasant City, Ohio with Pastor Keith Lingsch Officiating.
