Mary S Bickford

Mary S. Bickford age 82 of Caldwell, OH passed away Sunday Morning, May 16th, 2010 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Zanesville, OH. She was born April 16th, 1928 in Renrock, OH a daughter of the late James Omar and Itol Bell Combs Reed. Mary was a member of the Olive Green Community Church and most recently attended Sharon Community Church. She retired from Summit Acres Nursing & Rehab in 2005. She enjoyed gardening, attending auctions, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Wayne E. Bickford, whom she married April 25th, 1948 and who passed March 23, 2008; 3 Brothers Vernon, James and Roy Reed. She will be missed by her family 3 Sons Danny (Debbie) Bickford of Hackney, OH, Derl (Bonnie) Bickford of Beverly, OH and Dennis Bickford of Hackney; 4 Daughters Dianna (Carl) Lytle of Parkersburg, W.V., Darlene (Steve) Cain of Reinersville, OH, Kay (Mike) VanMeter of Caldwell and Mae (Terry) Keahey of Crawford, OK; 21 Grandchildren; 3 Step Grandchildren; Several Great-Grandchildren and Step Great-Grandchildren; 1 Brother Floyd (Barbara) Reed of Chandlersville, OH; 1 Sister Pearl (James) Waite of Cumberland, OH. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 19th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Pickenpaugh Officiating. Burial will follow in Reinersville Cemetery in Reinersville, OH.
