Marvin Elmer Miller

Marvin Elmer Miller, age 74, of Fulda, OH passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 at Summit Acres Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell, OH. He was born April 19th, 1936 in Noble County, OH a son of the late Otto and Marie Weber Miller. Marvin served and protected his nation in the US Army and was a Catholic by Faith. He was a carpenter by trade and later went on to be a General Superintendent for the Marietta Coal Company. Marvin was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Moose Lodge #221 in Caldwell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 1 Brother Jerome Miller; 2 Sisters Ardella Miller and Cleota Michel. He will be missed by his family, Wife Carol Bivens Miller of the home, whom he married July 20th, 1996; 1 Daughter Melanie (Greg) Scurlock of Pleasant City, OH; 7 Stepsons; 28 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Brother Cletus Miller of Dayton, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. A caring cremation will be observed, with no additional services at this time. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family. Inurnment will be observed in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Fulda at the convenience of the family.
