Marion G. Delancey

Marion G. DeLancey age 77, of Caldwell, OH passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. He was born March 22, 1944 in Noble County, OH a son of the late Glen C. and Evelyn A. Boney DeLancey.

He retired from the former Mahle Manufacturing Plant in Caldwell following 30 plus years of service. He was a true outdoorsman including deer hunting, fishing, trapping, shooting groundhogs, shooting trap, and hunting for Ginseng. Following the passing of his parents, he continued living on the family farm where he remained for the rest of his life along with his special pet Rusty.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Walter Dale DeLancey; niece Linda Campbell; grandnephew Jerry Milner; sister-in-law Mildred Wagner Chandler.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Sandra (Terrance) Milner of Caldwell; nephews Ronald (Janelle) Milner of Zanesville, OH and Walter Dale (Leanne) DeLancey of Lowell, OH; nieces Crystal (Lonnie) Ferguson of Caldwell and Debbie (Scott) Mankins of Lowell; grandnieces and grandnephews Paige Ferguson, Preston Ferguson, Thomas Milner, and Brenna Milner. Also survived by additional grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, September 20, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with George Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery.
