June 26, 1949 — December 7, 2012

Marilyn D. Rossiter age 63 of Caldwell, OH passed away Friday December 7th, 2012 at the OSU Medical Center in Columbus, OH. She was born June 26th, 1949 in Caldwell a daughter of Norma Jane Davis Smith of Pleasant City, OH and the late William C. Archer. Marilyn was employed for over 30 years in housekeeping at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Caldwell and also worked part time for many years for the Noble Local Schools. She was a member of the Center Free Methodist Church in Sarahsville. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, collecting bears, decorating her house and loved spending time with her Children and Grandchildren. She was a former President of the Shenandoah Band Mothers and was always at the basketball games to cheer for her Granddaughter Raechel Rossiter. She also enjoyed traveling to Amish Country with her Mother and Sister. In addition to her Father, she is preceded in death by her Grandparents Floyd and Mildred Davis. In addition to her Mother, she was loved and will be missed by, Husband Jerry R. Rossiter of the Home, whom she married June 27th, 1970; 2 Sons Brent (Dawn) Rossiter and Kent (Gretchen) Rossiter all of Caldwell; 3 Grandchildren Morgan, Raechel and Liam Rossiter; 1 Sister Darlene Baker of Pleasant City; Special Aunt Thelma Rochus of Westerville, OH and Uncle Loren Davis of Pleasant City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Tuesday December 11th, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 12th, 2012 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Nate Gibbons Officiating. Burial will follow in Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville.
